*Please note that the OS version is an upgrade (or downgrade) only, not a full license. You must have a fully licensed version (such as an OEM license) of Windows or Mac OS already installed on the machine in order to install the upgrade licensed through the Agreement (Since the machine is covered by the Microsoft Campus Agreement, you can either dual boot or upgrade from Mac OS on that machine).
2. University Use Rights
The Campus Agreement gives the University the right during the agreement to run the above Software on all University-owned PCs. The University has the option during the term of this agreement to run the most current version, or any previous version of the Software, in any available language in either a Macintosh or Windows version, as applicable.
For software media (CD), departments / units can acquire CD from the ITSC. Please find the detail media information here.

5. The Agreement
Microsoft Campus Agreement is an annual licensing program that allows a customer to count the number of faculty and staff full time equivalents (FTE) and multiply that by a tiered price. The customer then has the rights to run the licensed software for a 12-month period, and is licensed for all upgrades and downgrades of the licensed software throughout the term of the agreement. At the end of the agreement, the customer either renews the license agreement, or removes the software from its machines. |
