The ITSC Memory-Intensive Computing Server (Orpin) is a high-performance computing (HPC) system - SUN Fire 6800 server.

This server is equipped with sixteen 900 MHz superscalar SPARC V9 (UltraSparc III ) processors and installed with 64 GB main memory. Its theoretical computation performance is 28.8 GFLOPS. This system is intended for research projects that require very fast memory throughput and huge computing power .
