Organon
aims at helping users who need the Linux
Cluster for their research projects which
are computation-intensive in nature.
This webpage is designed for the users
who would like to find out how to use
the Linux Cluster and more information
about the cluster.
Organon
is a Linux Cluster which runs under Red
Hat AS Linux AS 3.1. The Cluster is formed
by nine Sun V20z servers, including one
primary file server, one stand-by file
server, one large memory node and six
computing nodes.
All Sun V20 servers are interconnected
by a Cisco 3750 Giga-bit switch. Sun
StorEdge 3310 SCSI Array Rack is
used to store system and user files which
are supported and administered by the primary
and stand-by file servers. |
