Adobe Premiere Pro and Ulead VideoStudio are used to edit videos, while Adobe Audition is used to edit audio files.

Adobe Premiere Pro is a professional video editing software, providing video effects such as color corrections, Gaussian blur and keying. It supports HDV (High Definition) format, and exporting to various formats including Windows Media, Quicktime Movie, RealMedia, MPEG and DVD.
Ulead VideoStudio targets users with no advanced knowledge of video editing. In a few simple steps, users can convert DV tape to DVD with chapters and menus. It also supports basic video cutting, caption superposition and transitions. It provides many templates to instantly enhance the outlook of the video.
Adobe Audition is a feature-rich audio editing software. It provides mixing, trimming, reverbs, noise cancelling and many other filtering functions. Users can also export the audio files to video editing softwares like Premiere Pro for further multiplexing.
