African Dictators E-mail Scam
Lately, a large increase has been seen in the junk emails sent worldwide promising you millions of dollars. For instance, one scam asks you to launder money for some African dictators. Unfortunately, some of our campus users may be tempted to give it a try, thinking there is little to lose if the money does not really come through. Actually this is a well-known scam, and you can lose thousands of dollars (or more) if you respond. Visit http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/itsc/network/app/email/scam.html to see more email scam examples and what to do about them.
