Mind Your Passwords

Many online applications now use CWEM passwords for authentication. In addition to checking the Campus-wide E-mail System mailbox, students can use the CWEM password for completing course registration, checking examination results, etc. Staff can use the password for viewing their employment related data like payroll data, medical benefits and more.

In order to protect your interests, it is extremely IMPORTANT for you to select a secure password to prevent others from compromising your password easily. Also, you should change your password periodically, for example, quarterly.

Last but not least, you should always keep your password to yourself. NEVER share it with others! Please visit http://accounts.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/resetpasswd for information about changing your CWEM password and recommendations for a secure password.
