Issue 33, Feb 11 2003. Mind Your Passwords Many online applications now use CWEM passwords for authentication. In addition to checking the Campus-wide E-mail System mailbox, students can use the CWEM password for completing course registration, checking examination results, etc. Staff can use the password for viewing their employment related data like payroll data, medical benefits and more. In order to protect your interests, it is extremely IMPORTANT for you to select a secure password to prevent others from compromising your password easily. Also, you should change your password periodically, for example, quarterly. Last but not least, you should always keep your password to yourself. NEVER share it with others! WebCT CE Under Pilot Running WebCT will be upgraded from the Standard Edition (SE) to the Campus Edition (CE) in July 2003. The new WebCT CE features richer functions and improved user-friendliness. The WebCT CE is now under pilot running. Teachers can open WebCT CE courses for testing, current WebCT SE courses migration or even teaching.
