Most central computer systems and network equipment need to be shut down regularly for maintenance work so that they are always kept in good condition to serve a large number of users. Details of the maintenance schedule from Jan 2004 to Dec 2004 have been sent to all departments, various college laboratories and student hostels for circulation and posting. From Dec 15 to Jan 4, the User Area at Pi Chiu Building and Wong Foo Yuan
Building will be opened as usual except public holidays and Sundays.
Besides, all the training rooms in the Pi-Chiu Building will be closed for
system upgrade. The schedule can be found at

ITSC is now looking
for enthusiastic students to assist with computer laboratory management
and campus network support. The working hours are limited to 18 hours
per week. Interested students should fill in the application form

between Dec 23 and Jan 12. Applicants who do not receive any notification
by the end of January may consider that their application not successful.
