1. What is E-mail Forwarding?
After setting up e-mail forwarding, your incoming e-mails will be automatically forwarded from your Campus-wide E-mail System (CWEM) account to another specific e-mail address, e.g. Hotmail and Gmail.
Users can set up or cancel e-mail forwarding with ease through the web interface of CWEM system at http://webmail.cuhk.edu.hk/.

2. Set up E-mail Forwarding
1. Login CUHK WebMail via http://webmail.cuhk.edu.hk/. |

2. Click on “Forwarding” icon at the top navigation bar. |

3. In the form, select “Set e-mail forwarding to:” in the form. |

4. Enter in the box the e-mail address you wish to forward your e-mails to.
(If you wish to enter two or more forwarding addresses, please separate them with commas.) |

5. If you wish to keep a copy of the e-mails in your CWEM account, please check the box “Keep a copy in CWEM mailbox (default no) ”. |

6. Click Submit when finished the setting. |

3. In the form, select “ Cancel e-mail forwarding ” to cancel the setting. |

4. Reminders
- Please make sure that the e-mail address you have entered is correct. If the address is incorrect or invalid, you are unable to receive any e-mails.
- To test your setting, you can send an e-mail to your CWEM account and check whether you can receive the e-mail in the mailbox that you have set as the forwarding address.
- After activating the function of keeping e-mail copies in CWEM mailbox, you should still check your CWEM mailbox regularly to ensure that your disk storage quota will not exceed the limit. Otherwise, you cannot receive any e-mails more.
