The three VPN connection services, ResNet, ClassNet and CUHKNet, are used in different locations. Users should be careful in choosing the correct one since you need to enter the corresponding service names and internet addresses during the VPN setup procedure.

1. The Class Network, ClassNet
   Use ClassNet when you are in lecture theatres, classrooms, libraries or public areas on campus.

2. The Residence Network, ResNet
   Use ResNet when you are in student hostels. It is available

3. The CUHKNet
   Use it when you are off campus. Just connect to the CUHKNet after connecting to the internet via a public ISP network.
   
   The CUHKNet allows users to access restricted CUHK sites, including the CUHK News Server and various Electronic Databases in the University Library System, through a non-CUHK connection.
