A number of wireless Access Points (APs) has been established on campus so that you can enjoy the Wi-Fi access with ease. The wireless coverage includes most of the public open areas, major classrooms and student canteens in,
Basically, CUHK Wi-Fi Service offers SSID=CUHK (Effective from Aug 27, SSID has been changed from CUwebLogin to CUHK.) connection and under CUHK Wi-Fi Hotspot Partnership Programme, SSID=PCCW, SSOD=Y5Zone and SSID=eduroam connections are offered. Meanwhile, a few of the locations still support SSID=classnet, which have been specified in the following table.
Those locations marked with * are outdoor areas and they currently support SSID=classnet connection .
Note: Some departments and units (such as the University Library System)
may have setup wireless LAN access for their staff
and students. Please contact corresponding departmental
LAN administrators for arrangement details.
