To access the campus network through a University’s wireless LAN connection, please follow the steps below to configure your wireless LAN card.
*** The following instructions are only applicable for Microsoft Window XP (SP2). Other versions of Window may require slight amendments.
| 1. Click Start > Control Panel > Network and Internet Connection. |
| 2. Choose Network Connections. |

| 3. Right click on Wireless Network Connection, choose Properties. |

| 4. Click Wireless Networks tab and then click Add. |

5. Type classnet in Network name (SSID) field, and choose Disabled in Data encryption.
Then click OK. |

| 6. Click OK to close the Wireless Network Connection Properties form. |

| 7. Acquiring network address is shown when the computer is connecting to wireless network. |

| 8. After a few seconds, Connected is shown and the computer has successfully connected to wireless network. |

| 9. Now, you can continue to set up a ClassNet VPN connection in order to connect to the campus network. |
