The E-mail service for retirees of the University is provided by the ITSC free of charge. Staff who will retire in the near future or who have already retired are eligible to apply for the service. The service comprises:

1. the provision of an e-mail account with sending, receiving and storage functions. This e-mail account includes an e-mail address ending in @e.cuhk.edu.hk. The account can be accessed through the web at http://webmail.e.cuhk.edu.hk or other common e-mail programs such as Outlook Express, Netscape Messenger and Gmail.
2. the provision of a "Reminder" to sender who sent an e-mail to the retiree's previous CUHK e-mail address, i.e. xxx@cuhk.edu.hk, suggesting the sender to resend the e-mail to the retiree's personal e-mail address if the e-mail is personal in nature or to the retiree's previous serving CUHK department/unit if the e-mail is official in nature.
3. the provision of an e-mail account with disk storage of 100MB.
