It is a management policy of ITSC that users should be consulted before any services are launched, changed or decommissioned.
Under this policy ITSC established various communication channels with users including ad-hoc user group meetings, e-mail helpdesk, newsgroup, telephone contacts and person-to-person meetings through which comments from users have been actively listened.
The ITSC Student User Consultation Committee is one of these channels. It was established by ITSC in January 2002. The memberships of the Committee are representatives of student unions, student representatives of faculties and representatives of ITSC.
