Please be informed that students of JAS1450/1460/2450/2460/2050/2060 (Practical Japanese courses) who take leave of absence without prior approval from the Department for more than one third of its scheduled teaching periods shall be given a grade "F" in the academic result of that course.

For courses other than those mentioned above, the same rule may apply.
