On word order in early Zhou Chinese

Abstract 摘要
This paper attempts to describe and discuss the structure of the “verbal sentence” and the “predicative sentence” in Early Zhou Chinese. In using the “slot-and-filler” technique, we arrive at a slot chain of sentence elements for each of these two. As a result, we can pinpoint the absolute position of a sentence element.

本文试图描述和讨论“动词句”和“谓语句”的结构。使用 “Slot-and-Filler” 手段，就能得出上述句子的句子成分的 “Slot Chain”。结论是，我们可以照此指明句子成分的绝对位置。
