The postgraduate research forum is a conference organized by postgraduate students of linguistics and linguistics-related disciplines in Hong Kong. The purpose of this event is to provide a platform for research students to introduce their interests and on-going projects, and to exchange innovative ideas about linguistic issues. It was previously held every two years from 1997 to 2003. After a five-year suspension, we are honored to resume the event in 2008, and to host it at the Chinese University of Hong Kong for the first time.
