Pizza, Spaghetti, Tiramisu, Cappuccino, Leonardo da Vinci, fashion brands like Gucci, Prada, Armani…What do you know about Italy? Brought to you jointly by the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages and the Office of Student Affairs of CUHK from 10 to 12 Jan 2007, the Italian Cultural Festival will present the essence of Italy with a great variety of programmes like a series of talks on Italian culture and careers in HK-based Italian companies, performances of Italian music and “Witch on Stilts”, film show, wine tasting, La Befana closing party, etc. We also have the honor to have invited the Italian Consul, Mr. Marco Cerbo, to officiate at the opening of the Festival and deliver a speech about the presence of Italy in Hong Kong on 10 Jan.
