My research interest focuses on the molecular mechanism underlying the pathogenesis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), and to apply such knowledge to develop markers for early diagnosis and monitoring of NPC. Current research includes identification of cancer-related genes that are involved in NPC using microarray- and proteomic-based technology, and functional characterization of these candidate genes.
