1. Medical Renal Pathology: 1.A.The diagnostic aspects: a) clinico-pathological studies of glomerulonephritis in Hong Kong; b) pathological prognostic indicators of IgA nephropathy; c) grading of lupus nephritis for therapy & therapeutic trials; d) diagnostic approach to HBV-related glomerulonephritis; e) renal allograft, Banff classification revisited, f) characterization of the renal lesion of pre-diabetes or insulin resistance state. 1.B.The pathogenetic aspects: mechanisms leading to the development of Thick GCBM: renal lesion of pre-diabetes or insulin resistance state.
2. Uropathology: a) pathogenetic and prognostic factors in prostatic carcinoma in Hong Kong Chinese; b) prognostic factors in.renal cell carcinoma.
3. Soft tissues tumors: a) vascular neoplasms; b) post-transplantation tumors.
