在一個科技日新月異及多元化的醫療新世界中，今日的護士需具備一個大學教育的課程以促進及關注社群的健康。
為加深對護理的認識，護士需應用解剖學，生理學，心理學及社會學等知識，以服務社群。
This degree is offered as a four year, full-time honours programme which on completion leads to the award of Bachelor of Nursing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
This programme is designed to develop a nurse with a strong theory and knowledge base in the biological, behavioural and nursing sciences; the ability to make critical, informed judgments and reasoned decisions in nursing practice and the skills to provide high quality patient care.

Full-time - 4 years
The minimum university requirements for admission to full-time undergraduate studies will apply. In addition, applicants should satisfy the following requirements:
HKALE
|
Grade E or above in 2 AL / 1 AL + 2 AS subjects (including any 1 AL / AS subject from Biology, Chemistry and Physics) |
|
Grade E or above in AS Chinese Language & Culture and Use of English |
HKCEE
|
Good grades in Chinese Language and English Language. |
|
Good grade in one subject from Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry or Physics |
After graduation nurses are qualified to work in community and hospital settings for example in pediatrics, surgical nursing, emergency nursing, midwifery, primary health care. If they achieve good results they may also progress to postgraduate studies which subsequently will lead to career promotion as nurse specialists, clinical managers, administrators and educators.
