Routine Histopathology  
Small Biopsy, single Fixed in 10% buffered formalin.
Small Biopsy, multiple sites Fixed in 10% buffered formalin.
Surgical Large Specimen, single Fixed in 10% buffered formalin.
Special Biopsies
Liver Biopsy, with Histochemistry Panel Fixed in 10% buffered formalin.
Muscle Biopsy, with Enzyme / Histochemical Staining Panel
Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be rest on a piece of moist filter paper and wrapped by gauze wetted with normal saline, and sent to laboratory with Proforma immediately.(Advance booking is required*).
Renal Biopsy, with IF Profile
Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be placed in normal saline and sent to laboratory with Proforma as soon as possible.
Skin Biopsy, with IF Profile
Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be wrapped by gauze wetted with normal saline and sent to laboratory as soon as possible.
Skin Biopsy, without IF Profile Fixed in 10% buffered formalin or sent fresh.
Rectal Biopsy, with Histochemistry for Ganglionic Cells 
Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be wrapped by gauze wetted with normal saline and sent to laboratory as soon as possible .
Nerve Biopsy, with Teased Fibre Preparation & EM
Fresh specimen required. Specimen should be rest on a piece of moist filter paper and wrapped by gauze wetted with normal saline, and sent to laboratory with Proforma immediately.(Advance booking is required*).
Molecular Tests
HPV DNA Typing for Autocyte Prep Fixed in specialized preservative (SurePath Preservative Fluid).
Paraffin Block Molecular Tests for TB paraffin sections
MGMT paraffin sections
Lymphoma Typing (Frozen / Paraffin Marker Panel) paraffin sections
1p19q paraffin sections
HER-2 FISH for Breast Cancers (FDA approved) paraffin sections
Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor mutation test (EGFR) paraffin sections or frozen section.

Semen Analysis Fresh specimen and advance booking required.
Sputum Fresh specimen required.
Joint fluid Fresh specimen required.
Non-Gynae (e.g. Bronchial, Body Fluids, etc.) Fresh specimen or mixed with equal volume of 50% alcohol.
FNA, sampled by clinician and sent to laboratory, single Fixed in 25% saline-alcohol (fixed in 90-95% alcohol for smears).
