簡歷

任卓昇醫生現任香港中文大學眼科及視覺學系助理教授，也是香港眼科醫院兒科眼疾及斜視服務計劃的學術統籌。

他於香港大學醫學院畢業，其後取得香港大學公共衛生碩士，並取得英國愛丁堡皇家外科醫學院院士。任醫生主要受訓於兒科眼疾及斜視專科。 他曾在英國倫敦Great Ormond Street Hospital接受兒科眼疾專科訓練, 亦曾在美國巴爾的摩約翰霍普金斯大學接受David Guyton教授的斜視研究訓練，以及在美國洛杉磯接受Kenneth Wright教授的眼科專科訓練。

任醫生活躍於國際眼科事務，現為亞太兒科眼疾及斜視協會委員會成員，並為香港眼科學會委員會之成員。任醫生非常注重眼科人才培養，除擔任香港中文大學醫學本科眼科教學統籌，亦為香港眼科醫師學會培訓小組委員會委員，並同時負責本學部公共教育計劃統籌。

他共發表了超過20篇論文，1本合著書籍及於出席超過30個國際會議進行演講及發佈。他還擔任香港眼科學刊(Hong Kong Journal of Ophthalmology) 與亞太眼科期刊(Asia Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology) 的編輯以及10份國際眼科學期刊的審稿人。任醫生獲譽頗豐，包括2003年香港社會醫學會獎(Hong Kong Society of Community Medicine Prize)，廖啟澄醫生紀念基金會獎(Dr Timothy Kai-Ching Liu Memorial Fund Award)，2014年亞太眼科年會參會補助金(Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology Tano Travel Grant)， 2014年世界眼科大會參會補助金(World Ophthalmology Congress Travel Grant)以及2014年亞太眼科年會領導培養計劃獎 (APAO Leadership Development Program Award)。

研究範疇

1. 近視 - 近視的流行病學，導致近視的風險因素和有效預防近視發展的干預措施。
2. 兒科眼疾基因組研究和基因圖譜，如間歇性外斜視，調節性內斜視等。
3. 間歇性兒科外斜視: 臨床治療，新的評估方法，有效的手術計劃及預後症狀。
4. 先天性白內障
5. 視網膜母細胞瘤: 不同的治療策略，患者和其家庭的生活質素。
