Biography and Research
interests
Dr. Barbara E. K. Klein is an active clinician in our glaucoma group
and also sees patients with other conditions as a comprehensive
ophthalmologist. She contributes to our resident teaching lectures
series and participates in teaching medical students and fellows in
other departments about general ophthalmology, ocular anatomy, and
age-related eye conditions. Dr. Klein is an active epidemiologic
researcher and is mainly funded by the National Eye Institute. She
also gives seminars about her research findings.
