The Department of Ophthalmology &
Visual Sciences of the Chinese University of Hong
Kong was established in 1994. The CUHK Eye Centre (CUHKEC) is managed under
the Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences
and is established to provide comprehensive and high
quality specialized ophthalmic services to private
patients.
The CUHKEC is composed of a team
of highly experienced ophthalmologists who are
specialists in their respective subspecialty of
ophthalmology and is supported by optometrists,
nurses, technicians and supporting staff. The clinic
is equipped with state-of-the-art ophthalmic
equipments to provide accurate and precise
ophthalmic diagnostic examinations and
investigations.

There are purpose built ophthalmic consultation
rooms, with laser machines and laser refractive
surgery theatre located at the CUHK Eye Centre of the 3/F Hong Kong Eye
Hospital.
