Prof. Yinong YAN

Prof Yan graduated from the Bethune University of Medical Sciences, in 1982 and obtained his master degree in Ophthalmology from Shanxi Medical University. He specializes in cornea transplantation. He has been a clinical professor of ophthalmology since 1987. He is now the associate director of Shantou University/The Chinese University of HK Joint Eye center, and the supervisor for postgraduate students.

Prof Yan takes strong interest in clinical trials and surgical procedures. He is fully committed to eye care. His consummate leechcraft and high-minded medical ethics are praised by lots of his patients and colleagues.

Prof Yan is actively involved in the advanced research of new technique and new project. His main research works include storage of donor cornea, corneal transplantation, retinal siderosis and Muller's cell and RPE. During his recently 20 years working for ophthalmology, he has completed over ten thousand ophthalmic surgeries. He has published more than 60 articles in different ophthalmological journals in China.

閻亦農教授

閻亦農教授1982年畢業於白求恩醫科大學醫療系，1987年獲山西醫科大學眼科碩士學位，主攻角膜移植。1997年晉升眼科主任醫師，1998年晉升教授。現任汕頭大學·香港中文大學聯合眼科中心副院長、碩士生導師。

閻亦農教授工作認真踏實，熱愛臨床工作，精通業務，恪守醫德，全心全意患者服務，以優良的服務質量及服務態度獲得患者及同事的好評。

在業務上，閻亦農教授努力鑽研，精益求精，積極開展具有先進水平的高、精、尖新技術及新專案研究。從事眼科工作近20年來，閆亦農教授經手的手術累計達1萬多例，為眾多的患者帶來了光明，解除了痛苦，獲得良好的社會效益。

在教研工作中，他主持了"角膜保存研究"等三項省級課題，參與一項國家級課題，已完成的專案均獲省、市級科技進步獎。從事臨床工作以來，共有60多篇文章發表在《中華眼科雜誌》、《眼科研究》、《中國實用眼科雜誌》、《眼外傷職業眼病雜誌》等核心期刊上。
