The University of Zurich is the largest university in Switzerland and plays a leading role in Swiss higher education. To its 24,000 students it offers a great diversity of studies, with more than 100 different degree programs and over 3,000 combinations of disciplines in seven faculties. University of Zurich in 2005 was ranked 13th of 123 European Universities (57th of 500 worldwide) by Shanghai’s Jiao Tong University, that developed one of the first worldwide university rankings.

      One term or one year undergraduate exchange programmme
 
         
    II. Language of Instruction
 
      Courses are mainly conducted in German. Courses in English are offered at the Master Level in some courses at the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Sciences.  
         
    III. Eligibility  
      1. 1. For undergraduate students who have completed one year of university studies at CUHK  
      2. In good academic standing with 3.0+ GPA  
      3. Intermediate German  
      4. Minimum TOEFL score 80

      Academic year (September to July)  
      Term dates (first term September to January) (second term February to July)  
               
    V. Insurance
 
      Compulsory health insurance (approximately CHF100 per month)  
               
    VI. Housing
 
      The International Relations Office will help students in finding private apartments (CHF700 per month)
