International students can take courses offered by the Faculty of Arts, Business Administration, Engineering, Education (limited to courses offered by the Department of Sports Science and Physical Education), Science and Social Sciences, and courses offered by the International Asian Studies Programme.  
     
 

As CUHK is a bilingual university, English, Cantonese and Putonghua are used for instruction. Although the local students are Cantonese speakers, there are many courses that use English as a medium of instruction. There are also some courses that are given in Putonghua.
