Committee on Academic Links To ensure that the University’s academic priorities are supported through the linkage partnerships and programmes, the Committee of Academic Links has been appointed to advise on the directions for linkage development and to formulate strategic plans for academic collaboration with higher institutions outside Hong Kong. Terms and Reference · To formulate policies and long-term objectives, execute forward-planning and set priorities in the development of academic links at the University; · To explore and expand resources to support such focused developments that will help enhance the international standing of the University and provide opportunities for staff and students to link with major centres of excellence worldwide; · To set and maintain quality standards for the academic link programmes conducted by all departments/units of the University; and · To undertake any assignments prescribed by the Vice-Chancellor.
