The Chinese University of Hong Kong is committed to providing its students with a holistic and balanced education, consisting of both formal and non-formal elements. The formal element is primarily academic pursuit, while the non-formal element includes non-academic and extracurricular activities and personal education.
The Office of Student Affairs aims to facilitate the all-round personal development and growth of students of the University. We work with other functional units within the University and external resources to provide quality non-formal educational experience to our students. It is our goal to meet students’ progressive needs and help them realize their potential as they advance along their educational path at the University.
香港中文大學致力為學生提供整全而均衡的教育，包括形式教育及非形式教育。形式教育主要是學科的研習；非形式教育是學科以外的課外活動及個人教育。
學生事務處的目標，是要協助本校學生的全面個人發展及成長。我們與大學其他有關部門及外界合作，為本校學生提供優質的非形式教育經驗。我們特別因應同學的不同發展階段，配合他們的需要，以使他們在大學進修期間充分發揮潛能。
