The CUHK International Summer School offers
you an opportunity to learn and live alongside other academic achievers from
a range of cultures. International students can immerse themselves in a
multicultural environment and gain insights into Asian cultures, experience a
different learning environment on the green, spacious campus of CUHK outside
of regular term time, and enjoy the many pleasures of summer in Hong Kong – In 2008, some 500 students attended the International Summer School; 76% of them came from 31 countries around the world. They made the programme truly international. The 2009 CUHK International Summer School will run from 30 June to 3 August. A number of most sought-after business, humanities and social science courses are offered, in addition to Putonghua and Cantonese. These courses are taught by prominent academics from CUHK and renowned overseas universities such as Oxford University. All of these academics are excellent teachers, and many of them are research frontrunners in their respective fields of study. We accept online applications for admission to the programme from 1 February 2009.
