The CUHK International Summer School – Chinese Language Programme (ISS-CLP) provides you with an opportunity to learn Putonghua and acquire pragmatic competence through lessons in Hong Kong and an immersion trip in Guangzhou, China.  ISS-CLP embraces language learning, cultural immersion, career preparation and entertainment, and offers a remarkable experience for language learners.

 ISS-CLP is a 3-week programme comprising two weeks of intensive study at CUHK and one week of immersion trip in mainland China during which students form small groups and join different theme-based trips (visit or sight-seeing), such as arts and culture, history and traditions.

 In 2008, four levels of Putonghua courses will be offered from 5 to 27 August.  We accept applications for admission to the programme from 1 February to 30 May 2008.
