Housing & Meals

For the first two weeks, students are housed on-campus in a student dormitory in double- or triple- occupancy rooms with shared bathroom facilities.  Light cooking facilities and communal facilities, such as laundry, study room, music room, computer room, and multi-purpose room are also available.  The hostel fee for the period from 3 August to 19 August 2009 is US$190 (including air-conditioning and simple bedding).

For regular meals at CUHK, students can choose to dine at one of the many student canteens located throughout the campus.  Meals cost around HK$18 to HK$30 per meal.

For the immersion trip in Guangzhou, China, students are housed in a student dormitory at the host school in double- or triple- occupancy rooms with shared bathroom facilities.  The immersion trip fee covers the hostel fee and most of the meals.  Please refer to "Fees" for details.
