Faculty Course Description The aim of this course is to develop students’ abilities to appreciate and practice poetry translation from Chinese to English and from English to Chinese and to compose creative poetry in Chinese or English through class lectures and discussions and the process of translation and rewriting. Furthermore, the course will enhance the students’ critical understanding of contemporary trends in poetry in a global perspective.
