Course Description
This course provides an anthropological approach to China. Discussions concentrate on its major cultural and social institutions both traditional and contemporary, such as family, marriage, kinship, lineage and clan, economic system, religion, value orientation, etc. (CUHK Anthropology Majors and Minors and students who have taken ANT2410 cannot take this course to fulfill General Education requirements.)
