Durairaj MAHESWARAN (Mahesh)



Durairaj Maheswaran (Mahesh) (Ph.D in Marketing, Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University) is Paganelli-Bull Professor of Marketing and International Business at New York University.  He is a past Editor of the Journal of Consumer Psychology, a leading academic journal in the area of Consumer Behavior. His research has been published widely in leading journals like the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research and Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. He has extensive work and consulting experience with major corporations like Unilever, IBM etc. He is a recipient of the Excellence in Teaching award at Stern. He has lectured in several countries including Australia, China, France, Holland, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Norway, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He has been with New York University since 1986.
