Sandy J. Wayne (PhD, Texas A&M University) is a professor of management and Director of the Centre for Human Resources Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is Chair of the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management and a Fellow of the Society of I/O Psychologists.

 Professor Wayne teaches organizational behavior and human resources management. She has extensive consultancy experiences with major insurance companies, banks and technology companies. Prof. Wayne's research focuses on employment relationships, leadership, empowerment, performance appraisal, organizational commitment, and teams. She has published more than 35 articles in leading management and human resources journals and is serving on the editorial boards of 5 major journals.
