Prof. Lau, Yuk King,
Assistant Professor, Department of Social
Work, is an experienced social work practitioner and trainer in
direct social work practice. She has a special concern on the
challenges encountered by families in the changing society and has
been active in promoting a resilience perspective on these families.
Her teaching areas include clinical social work practice, family
therapy, family-centered social work practice and family theories.
Her research areas include work and family balance, gender issue and
women study, family-centered practice with school dropouts, and
family-centered practice with post-divorce families. |
