Prof. Lee, Hung Kay obtained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.  After he completed his Ph.D. study, he spent two years as a postdoctoral scholar at California Institution of Technology.  He joined The Chinese University of Hong Kong as an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry in 1997.  His research interest focuses on synthesis and structural characterisation of metal complexes with biological relevance.
