Programme Features

Taste of University Life
Students will be housed on-campus in double- or triple-occupancy rooms for two weeks.  They will attend classes on our beautiful and spacious campus, enjoy the use of our university facilities and participate in a series of carefully planned activities.

Learning about Subjects of Interest
Students will take two academic modules in the afternoon, one for each week.  These academic modules, which cover topical issues in different fields and are taught by CUHK teachers, have been designed by various faculties, departments and academic programmes to help students to understand more about their subjects of interest before they consider their university programme choices.

Enhancing Spoken English/Putonghua skills
Students will take one immersion spoken English/Putonghua module every morning for two weeks.  The spoken English module is delivered by native English-speaking university students from overseas universities while the Putonghua module is offered by instructors at the Chinese Language Centre.  Students will be helped to enhance their spoken English/Putonghua skills in a fun and effective way. 

Activities
A variety of activities will be organised in the evenings and on the weekends, including a three-day orientation, academic counselling sessions, talks on admissions and university interview skills, and visits to laboratories and academic departments. 

Scholarships
Scholarships will be given to students who have exceptionally good academic performance (Please click here for more information).
