Mike W. Peng (Ph.D., University of Washington) is the Provostˇ¦s Distinguished Professor of Global Strategy at the University of Texas at Dallas and a National Science Foundation CAREER Award winner. Professor Peng is one of the most prolific and most influential scholars in global business strategy with a focus on Asian business. He is the Editor-in-Chief emeritus of the Asia Pacific Journal of Management. He is the author of three market-leading textbooks, Global Business, Global Strategy, and GLOBAL, which have been translated into Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese and used in over 30 countries. At CUHK, Professor Peng taught this course previously at the undergraduate and MBA levels, and received a Best Teaching Award for his outstanding delivery of this course (in 1998).
