Minimum Entrance Requirements

HKALE:

  • Have obtained, in one sitting of the HKALE* , Grade E or above in AS Chinese Language & Culture; and AS Use of English; and 2 AL subjects; or 1 AL and 2 ASL subjects.
  • Applicants must also have grade E or above in AL Pure Mathematics.


    • *For those students who take HKALE in their Secondary 6 and 7, the results of both sittings will be considered.
HKCEE:
  • Have obtained in one sitting of the HKCEE, grade E or above in at least seven subjects, preferably with good results in Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics or Additional Mathematics.

HKDSE Minimum Entrance Requirements

The minimum eligibility to apply is 4 core and 1 elective subjects. The minimum requirements for the core and elective subjects are as below,

    1.      Level 3 or above in Chinese Language,
    2.      Level 3 or above in English Language,
    3.      Level 3 or above in Mathematics,
    4.      Level 2 or above in Liberal Studies,
    5.      Level 3 or above in any one elective subject.

    In addition, applicants should have obtained level 3 or above in Mathematics (Module 1 or 2).
