She also has a cross appointment at the Faculty of Education. Prof. McNaught obtained her B.Sc. and her Master of Education from Monash University, and her Ph.D. from the University of Natal. She has taught for 27 years at universities including Monash University, the University of Zimbabwe, the University of Natal, the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University, and RMIT University. From 1999 to 2001, she was the head of professional development, Learning Technology Services, at RMIT University. Prof. McNaught's key research interests include investigating the relationships between the design and outcomes of computer-facilitated learning in higher education and the educational conceptions and practices of academics who develop and use such technology. Her work over the past decade has been supported by some 14 research grants and has led to the publication of 23 books and book chapters, 22 referred journals, 34 referred conference papers, 20 reports and occasional papers. As an academic staff member of CLEAR, Prof. McNaught is ready to help members of the University in teaching and learning methodologies, especially in the area of active learning. The investment managers will assess the past performance of the funds concerned and the market outlook for the rest of 2002. There will be a Q&A session after the presentation. The forum will be conducted in Cantonese with simultaneous translation in English. Presentation materials in English will also be available for distribution. Members are welcome to discuss informally with the investment managers at the foyer of the lecture theatre.

Full or partial support can be given in the form of research fellowships and sponsorships for surveys, pubic lectures, and publications. Applications endorsed by department chairmen/faculty deans or unit heads concerned should be forwarded with a completed application form and a summary form to Mrs. Betty Lo, personnel manager, on or before 28th March 2002 for submission to the relevant University committees for consideration. Since September 2001, the old Postgraduate Hall Complex located on Clinic Road has moved to the former University Residences No. 5 to No. 9 along Residence Road. Vaccination at the health centre for Hepatitis A is available in two doses at HK$225 per dose, while that for Hepatitis B is available in three doses at HK$70 per dose. A three-dose regimen for combined Hepatitis A and B is also available at HK$220 per dose. Vaccination dates for the first dose are 21st and 22nd March 2002, those for the second dose are 18th and 19th April 2002, while those for the third are 19th and 20th September 2002. A pre-vaccination blood test is required for Hepatitis B and optional for Hepatitis A. Blood tests are administered on 14th and 15th March 2002 at HK$100 each from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. An exhibition on hepatitis will run from 11th to 22nd March. A health counselling service is also available.

All University members are welcome. The exhibits come from the Music Department's Sit Gwoksin Collection, Yam and Bak Collections, materials from the ritual performances of Cantonese opera in Hong Kong, and books from the library. The exhibition is also open to the public on the Sundays of 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th March 2002, from 1.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
