- Prof. Wong Sai Peng, professor in the Department of Electronic
Engineering, has been appointed by the Secretary for Economic Development
and
Labour as a member of the Appeal Board Panel for three years from
28th July 2003.
- Prof. Joseph Lau, director of Centre for Clinical Trials and Epidemiological
Research, has been invited by the Commission on Youth as a co-opted
member of the Task Group on the Continuing Development and Employment
Opportunities for Youth.
- Prof. Fok Tai-fai, professor of paediatrics, has been nominated as
a member of the Medical Council for three years from 1st October
2003.
- Prof. Wong Tze-wai, professor in the Department of Community and
Family Medicine, has been elected as a fellow qua physician of
the Royal College
of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow) on 23rd June 2003. He has
also been appointed as a visiting professor of the College of
Public Health
at Sun Yat-sen University from May 2003 to April 2006.
- Prof. Ignatius Yu Tak Sun, associate professor in the Department
of Community and Family Medicine, has been appointed as a visiting
professor
of the College of Public Health at Sun Yat-sen University from
May 2003 to April 2006.
