The Research Centre for Translation has been actively promoting literary translation and translation research since its establishment in 1971. Among its publications are Renditions, the world-renowned journal of Chinese literature in English, Renditions Books, Renditions Paperbacks, and the first journal dedicated especially to the study of the translation history, Fanyishi yanjiu 翻譯史研究, the book series Translation Studies Research Series 翻譯研究論叢,  Fanyishi yanjiu luncong 翻譯史研究論叢, and the upcoming new English book series Asian Translation Traditions 亞洲翻譯傳統. The RCT Bookstore marks the centre’s latest effort in integrating into an ever-growing digital world and making our publications more easily available around the world.
