Chen Zhide (Chan Chi Tak, pen name Chen Mie 陳滅) 1969-

Born in Hong Kong, Chen received his B.A. from Taiwan's Tunghai University and his Ph.D. from Lingnan University. He is a co-founder of the Huxi Poetry Society 呼吸詩社 and its magazine Huxi Poetry 呼吸詩刊, and also of the magazine Poetry Waves 詩潮. He was a winner in the Awards for Creative Writing in Chinese in 1994, 1996, 1998, and 2002. As a visiting teaching fellow at Lingnan University he published a number of studies on the history of Hong Kong literature. His works include the poetry collection Dibaozhen 低保真 [Lo-fi] (2004) and the anthology Cong bentu chufa: Xianggang qingnian shiren shiwu jia 從本土出發:香港青年詩人十五家 [Homeland takeoffs: fifteen Hong Kong young poets] (1997).
