Chen Jiangfan (1910-1970)

Chen was born in China. While most of his representative poems appeared in Shanghai magazines such as Les Contemporains 現代 and Xinshi 新詩 [New poetry] from 1933 to 1941, his works were also featured in Hong Kong publications such as Sing Tao Daily 星島日報. Though a city-dweller, Chen took the countryside as his main inspiration and subject matter. His collection of poems is entitled Nanguo feng 南國風 [Southern wind]
