Huang Chunming (Hwang Chun-ming) 1939-

One of the most important contemporary Taiwan writers, was born in Ilan and graduated from P'ingtung Normal College. His short stories are very well-received, and many have been turned into successful films. His best known fiction collections include Erzi de da wan'ou [The son's big doll] (1969) and Shayonala zaijian [Sayonara, goodbye] (1974). He has also published essays and a series of children's literature.
