Li Mi 224-287?

Prose writer of the Western Jin dynasty. A native of Wuyang, in present-day Sichuan. He served as a Gentleman of the Secretariat in his native Shu, and when Shu was defeated by Jin in 264 and he was offered a post by the Jin emperor, he refused, on the grounds that he had to care for his ailing grandmother. One of his best-known pieces, Chen qing biao [Memorial Expressing my Feelings], deals precisely with this topic.
