Xiu Bai 修白 (1966 - )

Xiu a prolific woman writer and a member of the Chinese Writers Association, has published stories in major Chinese literary magazines including Dangdai 當代 [Contemporary] and Shiyue 十月 [October]. She also received the China Population Culture Award with her short story 'Chanfangli de shaofu' 產房裡的少婦 [A young woman in the delivery room]. Among her important works are Nuren, ni yao shenme 女人，你要什麼 [Woman, what do you want?] and Jinchuan he 金川河 [Jinchuan river].
