Zhang Zhu

Zhang Zhu 1287-1368

A scholar and poet of the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368). Zhang started his official career as Instructor at the Guozi jian (National University) and eventually rose to the position of Academician in the Hanlin Academy. He died at the age of eighty-two leaving behind the poetry collections Tuiyan ci [Verses from Moulting Cliff] and Zhang Tui'an shiji [Poetry of Zhang Zhu].
